Dez Rodriguez is a queer, neurodivergent, Latina, psychotherapist, speaker, mental health educator, and activist who believes that individual healing is deeply connected to building radical, transformative social change.

Since 2020, Dez has served as an advocate for the cultural, mental, emotional, and spiritual liberation and healing of LGBTQ+ young adults. She began her clinical work as a Crisis Counselor with The Trevor Project and has since built a powerful presence supporting first-generation, low-income, and QTBIPOC students across the City University of New York (CUNY) system.

Through her psychotherapy practice she offers LGBTQ+ affirming psychodynamic therapy for the Latinx community, as well as workshops, and trainings that critically explore the intersections of identity, stigma, and belonging to help cultivate communities that promote empathy, respect, and deep sense of belonging.
